History of NVJ
Nicole completed her trade certificate in 2009 whilst apprencticed to Rob Mitchell Jewellery, where she honed her skills in traditional jewellery manufacturing techniques, mastering the craft that would become her passion. Over the years, she continued to refine her artistry, learning from both tradition and innovation. In 2021, her dedication and expertise were recognised when she became a proud member of the Gold and Silversmith Guild, further solidifying her commitment to the craft and her place within Australia’s jewellery-making community.
Nicole’s journey in jewellery began with the opening of her first pop-up shop, a three-month venture that allowed her to share her designs with the local community. This initial success led to a permanent location in Ulverstone’s CBD, where her business blossomed, and she built strong connections with clients. As her brand grew, Nicole made the decision to move to a larger space, embracing the opportunity to expand her creative offerings. However, with her health and family life in mind, Nicole eventually transitioned to a more intimate, boutique-style operation, now working by appointment only. This shift allowed her to maintain the balance between her passion for jewellery-making and the time she cherishes with her loved ones, creating a more sustainable approach to her craft.
